There are also mountains, such as the Sierra de Bernia (1128m), Penyo de la Mica (806m), Sierra del Forner (889) and the Castellet (608m). Nature there is very Spanish; olive trees, conifers, vineyards and orange plantations. You can explore nature by hiking through the mountains, but you can also choose to hop on a mountain bike. Another idea: in the town of Benissa, you can rent a horse or quad bike. Many bodegas, or wineries, in the area produce the sweet, white wines Moscatel and Mistela. In addition, many hearty, red wines come from there.
